If there is a high demand, the German airline plans to increase the number of weekly flights on the Bengaluru-Munich route to five.

Deutsche Lufthansa AG has revealed plans to introduce two additional routes on April 27 – Munich to Bangalore and Frankfurt to Hyderabad.

The Munich-Bangalore route will have three weekly flights starting November 3, 2023. The Group’s inaugural new routes in the Asia Pacific region, the Frankfurt-Hyderabad flights, will commence operation in the winter season. The company released a statement confirming the announcement.

As per the announcement, the introduction of over 50 weekly flights to India will enhance the European airline group’s dominance in the region.

Lufthansa plans to operate its Airbus A 350 on the Munich to Bengaluru route. This service was initially scheduled to commence in 2020, but the pandemic disrupted these plans.

Additionally, the airline intends to raise the frequency of flights on the Bengaluru – Munich route to five times a week in response to robust demand.
