From next season, Etihad Airways will become the main sponsor of Girona Futbol Club. This strategic alliance, established for a period of three years, underscores Etihad’s deep commitment to the Spanish market and its dedication to enhancing connectivity and cultural exchange.
As the main sponsor, Etihad Airways will feature prominently on Girona FC’s team kits and within the club’s home ground from the coming season. The partnership will also offer exciting new opportunities for fans, including unique promotions and special events designed to celebrate this union of cultures and passions.

Etihad has grown its Spanish operation by nearly 50 percent since last summer. In 2024, the airline will operate 10 weekly flights to both Madrid and Barcelona. Additionally, Etihad will introduce seasonal flights to Spain, including thrice-weekly routes to Málaga starting on June 2.
