Hamburg Airport was one of the top destinations in 2022, with approximately 50 airlines offering flights to 115 national and international locations. With just one stop, passengers could access over 1,000 global destinations from Hamburg.
The most sought-after holiday destination from the airport was the Balearic island of Majorca, taking the top spot on the list of the ten most popular destinations from Hamburg. To accommodate the demand, Hamburg Airport will provide multiple daily flights to Spain’s Majorca during the summer travel season of 2023. It’s going to be operated up to 11 flights per day from Hamburg to Majorca in 2023.

The most popular destinations for travelers in 2022, according to data from Hamburg Airport, were Majorca, which was visited by one in five travelers, followed by the Canary Islands.
Barcelona ranked fifth and flights to Malaga came in tenth. Turkey also proved to be a popular destination, with Antalya and Istanbul taking third and fourth place, respectively. Heraklion in Greece was eighth and Lisbon was ninth. Hurghada in Egypt came in sixth, followed by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in seventh place.
