Asturias, a region located in northern Spain, is now offering more international flight options than ever before. The region, which is home to the popular cities of Aviles, Gijon, and Oviedo, will now have connections to a record-breaking eight international destinations thanks to the addition of several new Ryanair flights.
Cheap flights to Asturias, Spain
Spanish airline Vueling currently operates regular flights between Asturias and London Gatwick, Paris, and Amsterdam. In addition, Ryanair, Europe’s largest low-cost airline, began offering five new routes to Asturias last month: London Stansted, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Rome-Fiumicino, and Brussels South-Charleroi.
The region’s airport will continue to expand its international offerings in the coming months, with flights to Frankfurt, Lisbon, Milan, and Munich set to begin in March and April of next year.
According to Aena, the various airlines have planned over 865,000 flights to and from Asturias Airport for the autumn/winter season, which runs until March 25. This represents a 38% increase compared to the 2019-2020 period.
