Air France launching flights to Cayenne and Belém

Air France is expanding its Caribbean regional network and launching a direct flight between Cayenne, French Guiana, and Belém, Brazil

From May 5, 2023, a weekly flight will be operated on an Airbus A320 between Cayenne and Belém. Additionally, new flight times between Pointe-à-Pitre and Miami will be introduced to offer connections from Fort-de-France and Cayenne.

Air France is continuing to expand its Caribbean Regional Network, which connects French overseas territories, to make travel and exchanges between the countries’ inhabitants easier. The airline operates two Airbus A320s based in Pointe-à-Pitre, providing year-round service with up to 23 weekly flights between Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Cayenne, and Miami.

Starting on May 5, 2023, Air France will begin offering a weekly direct flight between Cayenne, French Guiana, and Belém, Brazil. The flight will originate in Pointe-à-Pitre, stopping in Fort-de-France and Cayenne before arriving in Belém, providing travelers from Guadeloupe and Martinique with a direct connection to Brazil. The aircraft used will be an Airbus A320, which has a seating capacity of 168 (12 in Business class and 156 in Economy class), and will be equipped with Wi-Fi.

Bookings will open on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Air France platform or through travel agencies and online booking systems.

As of March 30, 2023, Air France will adjust the schedule of its Pointe-à-Pitre – Miami route to make it easier for customers from Fort-de-France and Cayenne to travel to Florida. The new schedule will offer two weekly flights on an Airbus A320, which has a capacity of 168 seats.
