On Tuesday, Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias held a meeting with a delegation from the Serbian-Greece friendship group in the Serbian Parliament and with Serbian Ambassador Dusan Spasojevic, according to a statement by ANA.
The Serbian delegation announced that Air Serbia will begin operating flights from Belgrade to four new destinations in Greece starting in April 2023, including three flights a week to Heraklion (with an additional flight in June), three flights a week to Chania, two flights a week to Corfu, and two flights a week to Rhodes. These new flights will provide Serbian tourists with the opportunity to obtain affordable airfare to Crete, Rhodes, and Corfu in Greece,

Both parties agreed on the importance of expediting the processes to resolve issues regarding the operation of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) in Belgrade, and establishing a reciprocal arrangement for the Tourism Office of Serbia in Athens.
The Serbian delegation highlighted the additional roaming charges incurred by Serbian travelers visiting Greece, which results in the loss of 300,000 to 400,000 tourists from Serbia annually.
The Serbian delegation and Ambassador delivered an invitation from the Serbian Tourism Minister to Kikilias for a visit to Belgrade for meetings with government officials and participation in the International Tourism Fair from 23-26 February.
