Azul to launch flights from Campinas to Paris Orly

Starting from April 26, the airline corporation will commence its flights, running daily except on Tuesdays

Azul, the Brazilian airline, has declared its plans to establish a connection between Sao Paulo Campinas/Viracopos (VCP) and Paris/Orly (ORY). This move will mark the airline’s debut operation in France and its second destination in Europe.

Starting from April 26, the airline corporation will commence its flights, running daily except on Tuesdays, using A350-900 airplanes with a seating capacity of 334 passengers. As a result, the airline will provide 4,008 seats per week.

Sao Paulo Campinas-Paris schedule

The schedule of the flights is as below:

Campinas – Orly flight AD 8700 VCP 23:00 – 15:30 ORY
Orly – Campinas flight AD 8701 ORY 22:15 – 04:45 VCP

Azul’s announcement makes it the third airline to link the metropolitan regions of Paris and São Paulo, although it is the first to deviate from the Guarulhos (GRU) – Charles de Gaulle (CDG) route. LATAM offers a daily flight utilizing its Boeing 787-9, while Air France offers two daily flights using Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 777-300ER airplanes.
