Arab Aviation Summit 2023: net-zero and aviation trends in 14-16 March

Distinguished thought-leaders, innovators, and industry experts from both regional and global arenas will deliver captivating keynote speeches and engage in interactive panel discussions.

Scheduled to take place from March 14-16 at Al Hamra International Exhibition & Conference Centre, the 10th edition of the Arab Aviation Summit 2023 (AAS) in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates will be a platform for discussions and debates on sustainability, the economic outlook, and key trends that are shaping the future of aviation.

Under the theme ‘Impactful sustainability in modern-day travel and tourism,’ this three-day summit will bring together a distinguished gathering of thought-leaders, innovators, and industry experts to explore decarbonizing pathways in aviation and discuss the challenges and opportunities in the industry with the continued rise of disruptive technologies.

The Arab Aviation Summit 2023 will feature inspiring keynote addresses and interactive panel discussions led by leading regional and global players in the aviation and travel industry, who will share best practices, sustainable business models, and regional trends in aviation and tourism. Among the prominent speakers at the event are Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan Al Maktoum, Raki Phillips, Ilin Dimitrov, Adel Al Ali, and Abdul Wahab Teffaha.

Various industry professionals, including Ted O’Byrne, Mikail Houari, Val Miftakhov, Andreas Slettvoll, and Dr Fethi Chebil, will discuss airline economics, pathways to net-zero emissions, the rise of the next generation traveller, and how advanced air mobility will shape airlines, airports, and travel operations. Additionally, discussions on airport sustainability, travel destinations in the Middle East, and the impact of technology and influencers on the travel and hospitality industry will also take place.

The AAS 2023 is supported by global industry partners such as Airbus, CFM, T3 Aviation Academy, Collins Aerospace, and others, and is an industry initiative committed to improving the state of Arab aviation and tourism by facilitating a constructive dialogue for public-private cooperation.

The summit attracts the largest assembly of top executives from the aviation and tourism sector, as well as Arab media, and is widely known as the “voice of the industry”.
