On September 27, 2023, Wizz Air inaugurated nonstop services between Skopje and Ljubljana, reestablishing the link after four years. The route served twice weekly, will increase to thrice weekly from late October, predominantly operated by Airbus A321.
The inaugural flight from Skopje to Ljubljana was fully booked. TAV Macedonia’s general manager, Nejat Kurt, expressed gratitude, anticipating the route to meet passenger needs and enhance regional connectivity. Skopje is set to expand its network further with Aegean Airlines launching services to Sarajevo next Monday.
