Google has published its latest compilation of the top summer 2023 destinations, which includes many familiar places for those itching to travel this season.

Using data from the Google flight search system, the search giant compiles its list of popular destinations by analyzing the flight preferences of consumers. Among the iconic places that are in high demand for the summer travel season from June to August are the following:

On the list, some of the most popular destinations include London, Cancun, Orlando, Rome, and New York City. Tokyo, Dublin, Barcelona, Seattle, and Boston also made the cut but ranked lower on the list.

Google Flights has observed a rising trend of solo travel, with searches for “solo travel destinations” increasing by 120% in the past year. New Orleans and Mexico City are the top destinations for solo travelers, according to the data.

Couples are also planning their summer getaways, and Google found that Jamaica, Bora Bora, and Turks and Caicos are among the preferred romantic destinations for warm-weather vacations.
