Wizz Air has added five more routes from Belgrade, Serbia, using its fourth Airbus A321 aircraft.

Wizz Air has announced that it will be adding a fourth Airbus A321 to its base in Belgrade, Serbia next summer. The low-cost carrier has been serving the city since 2010 and established a base there in 2011.

With the addition of this fourth aircraft, Wizz Air will be able to introduce more routes from Belgrade, including flights to Berlin Brandenburg, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Milan Bergamo, and Zakynthos, and increase frequency on some existing routes. The expansion of Wizz Air’s operations in Belgrade comes as Air Serbia adds numerous new routes from the city, and as Wizz Air adds its seventh aircraft to its base in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The addition of a fourth aircraft will allow Wizz Air to introduce more new routes from Belgrade, starting on July 31st. It is worth noting that this date is still some time away, and changes may occur in the meantime. Some of these new routes will have relatively high frequencies for the low-cost carrier.
