The commencement of Wizz Air’s operations in Luxembourg was marked by the inaugural flight from Luxembourg to Bucharest. The airline has also announced plans to introduce two more routes, with flights to Rome and Skopje scheduled for July and December respectively.

By adding new routes, Wizz Air aims to offer affordable travel options throughout the year utilizing their Airbus A320 series aircraft. Flights between Luxembourg and Bucharest will be available on select days during both the summer and winter seasons.

One notable aspect of Wizz Air’s operations is their commitment to environmental sustainability. They proudly claim to have the lowest carbon emissions per passenger and kilometer among European competitors. Achieving this feat has been possible through strategic investments in their fleet, including the acquisition of new Airbus A321neo aircraft. Wizz Air also has plans to establish agreements for sustainable aviation fuels and actively invest in their development.

Wizz Air is providing an extensive offering of nearly 60,000 seats from Luxembourg through these newly introduced flights, catering to a wide range of travel needs. Passengers can conveniently book tickets for these flights via the airline’s website, travel booking systems, and mobile app.

The CEO of Lux-Airport expressed enthusiasm regarding this collaboration, emphasizing the positive impact it will have. Wizz Air’s Corporate Communications Manager, on the other hand, underscored the attractive low-cost flight options and contemporary aircraft available to passengers traveling to and from Luxembourg.
